About Project UNITY

A 501(c)(3) nonprofit empowering next-generation health innovators to tackle urgent health challenges and drive systems change in public health, medicine, and digital health.

Our Approach

How We Work

Our Approach
Our Three Pillars

What We Do

Education

Through Catalyst Academy and bootcamps, we deliver curriculum that bridges public health theory with hands-on research.

Mentorship

Every student is paired with graduate-level mentors from leading institutions who guide research and career navigation.

Community Innovation

Through Y-PHIC and our intervention model, we support youth-led projects creating measurable, lasting impact.

Our Story

How It Started

Project UNITY began during the COVID-19 pandemic, when a group of pre-medical students recognized a critical gap in public health education. With infection rates rising and access to reliable information limited, they created nationwide webinars to educate high-risk communities on mental health, diabetes, heart disease, and nutrition.

The overwhelming response sparked a bigger vision. What started as a grassroots effort grew into a nonprofit with a clear mission: to educate and empower future leaders to bridge medicine, public health, and digital health to improve care and advance equity.

As healthcare evolves, so must the people who shape it. We believe a strong foundation in public and digital health is essential to addressing systemic challenges and creating lasting impact.
